What is sustainable development?
The concept of sustainable development is the result of concerted action by nations to promote a model of global economic development compatible with environmental conservation and social equity.
Since the emergence of the concept of sustainable development, various initiatives have been launched to achieve the objective of reorienting the current development model, among which they stand out for their importance:

The sustainability guide for Workshops and Laboratories is established in collaboration with researchers, officials, teachers and administrators of each academic unit to develop and implement sustainable practices and the use of technologies that increase efficiency, reduce energy consumption and conserve resources in laboratory buildings on all university campuses.
