Digital Education Program
Digital Education Program (PED)
The digital education program of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) represents a vanguard in educational transformation. With a focus on technological innovation, UANL has implemented a wide range of digital resources to enrich the learning experience of its students. This includes online learning platforms, interactive virtual classes, and access to world-renowned digital libraries. Additionally, the university strives to foster digital inclusion and equitable access to education by providing online training opportunities to remote communities. The UANL digital education program embodies the vision of quality and accessible education for all.
UANL's online learning platform allows students to access study materials, participate in interactive virtual classes, and take assessments conveniently. This not only facilitates continuous learning, but also encourages collaboration and communication between students and teachers, regardless of their geographical location.
In 2022, the UANL provided educational services through the PED to 17,138 students, thereby avoiding the emission of 6,834,112 Kg of CO2 equivalent, because the expense of fuel was avoided in transporting students to the university campuses, in addition to avoiding the consumption of energy and water that these same academic activities would have generated, but in person.
