Cultural expressions linked to the promotion of Sustainability

The educational television program Mundo Sustentable, was created in 2015 with the main objective of disseminating the actions carried out by members of the university community and society in favor of sustainability.

During 2022 were produced and transmitted 20 programs through the open television signal of Channel 53, in which they participated 20 distinguished specialists the three axes of sustainability: environmental, social and economic.

The Autonomous University of Nuevo León has promoted sustainable development not only through adequate environmental management, but also through carrying out artistic expression activities, which were capable of raising awareness among members of the university community about the importance who take care of the planet for the well-being of present and future generations.

In 2015, the Project Development Directorate of the UANL Sustainability Secretariat created the photography contest “In the sights of sustainability”, which in 2022 held its eighth edition with the theme “Actions for the care of water” in which more than 400 students, of 12 university units.

With winning works in photography contests, the photographic exhibition “In the sights of Sustainability” which in 2022 was made up of 63 works and was exhibited in 3 university facilities ante más de 1,350 spectators.
